Meeting report by Secretary, PP Don
President Preecha opened the meeting with the Thai National anthem.
President Preecha invites all to buffet dinner.
1.No chairman had any report as of this date.
2.Treasurer Praphan report on proceeds of our Palm reading project on 17 & 18 Nov at Town in Town hotel. Final report is not yet complete.
3.PP Chalor reported on the 14 Nov cataract project at Samitivij hospital opening. The final operations will be completed on the 4 of Dec for the King’s 80 Birthday Celebrations on the 5 of Dec 2007.
4.Rtn Alexander gave today’s meeting report of the organizing committee for the Rotary Elvis concert on the 19 Jan 2008.
Present were Rtn Alexander, Secretary Don,PP Niels, Rtn Des and Peter John to help in the logistics.
5.Toast by Secretary Don on our 35 th anniversary day the 19 of November 2007.
A group photo of all present members and visiting Rotarians from Norway in the lobby of the hotel A final cheer was given by PDG Jin to all members .
6.Secretary Don noted to all members to wear proper clothing and make sure you have a Rotary symbol on your attire during weekly meetings and club functions.
7.PP Niels reported on the honorary membership of Pattaya Police Chief Nopadol on the 26 of Nov 2007 at our weekly meeting. PP Niels also mentioned that we should give these honorary membership with great care to true honorary citizens and not just hand them out to any one in our community. The membership will be dated to the time the recipicant is in office in Pattaya,renewable by the new incoming President of our Club.
8.Rtn Ossi note that he was willing to organize a golf tournament in Feb 2008 for our club fund raiser.
He noted that all member should support his project with ideas and volunteering for the project.
9.Other items.
Visiting Rotarian exchanged banner with President Preecha and spoke of her club and members in Norway.
