Rotary Club of Buri Ram, Thailand

 


A sister club agreement was signed between the Rotary Club of Pattaya and the Rotary Club of Buri Ram in North Eastern Thailand on 19 October 2007.

At the ceremony PP Don explained in English and PP Chalaw in Thai what a Sister Club agreement means and the detail of the date,who signs and the four conditions for agreement:

  • 1. Opportunity for friendship.
  • 2. Joint programs.
  • 3. Hosting clubs and individuals when visiting.
  • 4. Maintain correspondences between each club relating to the four avenues of service.
    This agreement is for one year but will run indefinitely if the two club agree to the agreement each new Rotary year.

    The two club Presidents, Preecha Peethong; Woresate Saksirinugul and the District Governor Dr Arnon Chirajavala signed the agreement binding the two clubs.

    Following the signing of the agreement various speeches were made these included:-

  • District Governor Arnon proclaimed the distinct awareness in this cooperation in our Rotary goals in humanitarian,health,hunger and educational ideals.
  • PDG Jin noted his goals to make our clubs future project open and complete in the water purification machine for local schools. He is happy for cooperation with the home club of the present Governor Arnon in Buriram.
  • Buriram President Worasate spoke on his happiness as a past GSE ambassador to America,he felt his sincerity in his and Pattaya’s purposes.
  • Pattaya’s President Preecha spoke of his clubs past accomplishments and look forward to both clubs aims for the country of Thailand.
