SUPPORTING THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE CENTER

The Rotary Club of Pattaya is supporting the Fountain of Life Center.
An institution run by Christian nuns, where girls who have worked in the entertainment/bar trade can come and learn skills like computers, hair dressing as well as learning to read and write in Thai, English and German, enabling them to change their life to do a 'proper' job.
The women are also given information on the value of life, their dignity, their rights under the law, the prevention of STD and HIV/AIDS. There are around 150- 200 women using the Centre everyday.
