ROTARY CLUB OF PATTAYA

The Rotary Club of Pattaya is supporting "Banglamung Old Folks Home" as it is mostly called. Improvements are always welcomed at the home and its medical center. From time to time our club organize lunches with nice food to make the life a little nicer for the elderly people.

The Banglamung Home for Elderly was initiated by HM the Queen Sirikit in 1968 and was the first home for the aged that was built with funds raised by both the government and private sectors to look after homeless and elderly people from poor families.

The home encourages the residents to lead as active a life as possible. Many of the residents assist with various tasks to keep their home as pleasant as possible.
