Meeting report by Secretary, PP Don
President Precha opens meeting with Thai National anthem and invites guest to dinner.
Todays meeting is a Fellowship and ceremony to sign a sister club agreement with the Rotary Club of Buriram.

PP Don explained in English and PP Chalaw in Thai what a Sister Club agreement means and the detail of the date,who signs and the four conditions
for agreement:
1. Opportunity for friendship.
2. Joint programs.
3. Hosting clubs and individuals when visiting.
4. Maintain correspondences between each club relating to the four avenues of service.
This agreement is for one year but will run indefinitely if the two club agree to the agreement each new Rotary year.
The two club Presidents, Preecha Peethong; Woresate Saksirinugul and the District Governor Arnon Chirajavala signed the agreement binding the two clubs.
District Governor Arnon proclaimed the distinct awareness in this cooperation in our Rotary goals in humanitarian,health,hunger and educational ideals.
PDG Som,a member of the Rotary Club of Pattaya, noted Rotary International Past President Bichai Ratakul’s, pleasure to name a day for his year’s motto of SOW THE SEEDS OF LOVE in the month of December 2007 and in the future years on the same day.
President Bichai did not want his name being used in any way as he was happy to serve as a fellow Rotarian. This day would be used to gather warm clothing for the people of the Northeast of Thailand as the weather can and will become very cold and unhealthy.
PP Don noted this would be a good project for Buriram and Pattaya to start their cooperation in helping the poor to survive nature’s wrath with the people of rural North East Thailand.
PDG Jin noted his goals to make our clubs future project open and complete in the water purification machine for local schools. He is happy for cooperation with the home club of the present Governor Arnon in Buriram.
Buriram President Worasate spoke on his happiness as a past GSE ambassador to America,he felt his sincerity in his and Pattaya’s purposes.
Pattaya’s President Preecha spoke of his clubs past accomplishments and look forward to both clubs aims for the country of Thailand.
As Sergeant at Arms Rtn Stephen was unable to attend due to illness, Rtn Nopadol deputised and announced the fellowship sponsors and the birthday Rotarians.
Secretary Don announced the following:
1. King Rama five respect at the Banglamuang District office on the 23 rd Oct at 08:00 am. Dress club blue shirt.
2. No weekly meeting on the 22 nd Oct 2007.
3. Screening day at the Banglamuang district health office on the 27 Oct 2007 08:00 am for the cataract operation patients
President Preecha closes the meeting and fellowship party with the King’s anthem.
