In the morning of Thursday 28 June 2007 the Rotary Club of Pattaya presented a Guards shelter to the Banglamung Driving License Center.

Earlier in the year the Rotary Club of Pattaya had been asked if we could provide a shelter for the security guards stationed at the entrance to the Drivers Center in Banglamung. The request was considered and agreed to as there are many people of all nationalities who visit this drivers center every day and this would be an ideal venue to promote Rotary and especially the 4 way test. The Rotary 4 way test is proudly displayed for all to see in the hope that even non Rotarians will apply it in their lives.
The center covers things like conducting driving tests, issuing and renewing drivers licenses, vehicle inspections, vehicle taxation and licensing as well as many other things concerning the every day use of motor vehicle and motor cycles.

Rotarians were welcomed at the Drivers License Office of Banglamung by Mr. Thotsaphorn Suwan-Aksorn and his staff.
The official hand over ceremony was conducted by President Niels and was attended by Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Pattaya as well as the staff from the driving center.

Following the ceremony the Rotarians were taken on a tour around the license office and were explained the procedures of how one applies for a driver’s license and what tests are required.
