ROTARY CLUB OF PATTAYA

The National Ability Center (NAC) together with the Redemptorist Center Pattaya, led by Miss Lisa Murphy, Miss Meeche White, and Khun Suporntham Mongkholsawat, organised an International Sports Initiative for Individuals with Disabilities which was held at Pattaya Sports Stadium in Thepprasit Soi 7 from 13th until the 20th of January.

The Rotary Club of Pattaya attended each days events to lend their support. The Mobility Project gave 95 wheelchairs and useful items to needy disabled people in Thailand with the purpose of training the 40 disabled teachers, from Pattaya and Chiang Mai to bond and exchange traditional cultures between each other.

All the disabled participants enjoyed themselves as they played 4 different kinds of sports: Wheelchair Racing, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Tennis, and Hand Cycling.
