Public Services by Rotary Club of Pattaya and City Hall

Pattaya Deputy Mayor, Wutthisak Ruemkitjakarn opened another of City Hall’s portable public services projects on 27th April, this time at the empty space beside Soi Khao Noy railway track, Pattaya.

Many guests were at the event including Deputy Mayors Wattana Chantarawaranon and Weerawat Kakhai, Pattaya Council Members along with President Niels and members of the Rotary Club of Pattaya who helped hand out money and useful items to the poor residents.
The Rotary Club of Pattaya made a donation to 5 elderly residents of the area by giving them 1,000 Baht each. They also gave 67 bags of useful items worth a total of 10,000 Baht to the local residents.

There were many services offered to the residents, like health and teeth checkups, hair cuts, birth control products. There were also vaccinations for pets. Advice was available about government related services like complaints, tax consultation and registration data base information.
Residents also brought in their unwanted items to exchange for eggs.

The Community service Unit is a service which is provided by Pattaya City Hall but is assisted by the Rotary Club of Pattaya and visits some of the poorer areas of Pattaya on a regular basis.
